Job Responsibility

  • Manage the dispute and chargeback process across payment providers and acquiring banks
  • Collect and prepare supporting evidence (subscription records, transaction logs, proof of service) to respond to disputes
  • Monitor dispute trends and identify root causes impacting dispute ratios and payment performance
  • Implement and manage dispute prevention and automation tools (e.g., Visa Verifi RDR, Mastercard solutions)
  • Work closely with Product, Payments, and Customer Success teams to reduce dispute rates and payment risks
  • Contribute to scalable, system-driven solutions that reduce dispute-related costs as payment volume grows
  • Optimize dispute prevention costs
  • Automate dispute response process

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Payment Risk & Fraud, Chargebacks, or Dispute Management
  • Experience on the merchant/acquiring side of payments
  • Solid understanding of the chargeback and dispute lifecycle, and metrics (such as VAMP, dispute ratios, etc.)
  • Familiarity with dispute prevention or automation tools (Visa Verifi RDR, Ethoca, etc.)
  • Experience with payment service providers (Stripe is a strong plus)
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to take data-driven actions
  • Fluent in English
  • international work experience is a plus

  • Managing various transaction monitoring operational queues with the goal of safeguarding the business, advising the fintech operations coordinator team in evaluating individual transactions and merchants, and making key tactical decisions to block potential bad actors
  • Identify business needs, scope requirements, plan execution of Payments and Fintech fraud and risk mitigation projects with cross-functional teams
