Job Description:

As a Payment Operations Team Lead at Ezypay, you will spearhead the management and enhancement of our payment operation processes to ensure smooth transaction flow and minimize discrepancies while fostering a high-performing team culture. You will work closely with various internal stakeholders and external partners to drive improved efficiency and implement operational best practices.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and mentor the Payment Operations team, ensuring the team is well-equipped to achieve organizational goals
  • Oversee daily payment processing activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant regulations
  • Implement and optimize operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors in payment transactions
  • Manage complex payment issues and escalations to ensure prompt resolutions and maintain high customer satisfaction
  • Work collaboratively with IT, Finance, and other operations teams to integrate new payment solutions or enhancements seamlessly
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track team performance and suggest actionable improvements
  • Conduct regular training sessions for team members to ensure they stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members, offering consistent, actionable feedback and fostering an environment that supports continuous personal and professional development
  • Prepare and present performance reports to senior management, highlighting achievements and areas for development
  • Identify gaps and streamline processes to improve efficiency and reduce risks that enhance operational efficiency and support expansion across multiple APAC jurisdictions

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in payment operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of payment processing systems, gateways, and compliance regulations
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively and foster a positive, collaborative work environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with data analysis tools
