Job Description

As a Payment Operations Specialist, you'll be a vital part of our Treasury team, ensuring Juni’s growth journey. You'll be taking charge of cash management, settlements and reconciliation, Juni’s participation in RIX and Bankgirot, and other critical backoffice responsibilities.

Job Responsibility

  • Handle daily settlements and transfers with external parties
  • Handle queries relating to cash management
  • Be partly responsible for Juni’s participation in RIX and Bankgirot
  • Perform related reporting on a recurring basis
  • Be part of the development and maintenance of internal processes and routines

Requirements

  • Experience of backoffice tasks from a finance department
  • Eager to learn and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Valid work permit for Sweden

Nice to have

  • Experience from a Swedish bank or other regulated business
  • Education in economics, finance or similar

  • Drive operational excellence and risk mitigation across payment processes, support customer lifecycle events with partners, and resolve card delivery issues in collaboration with Support
  • Oversee the end-to-end chargeback lifecycle (scheme submissions, payouts, and ledger reconciliation) and manage operational client offboarding, including final fund disbursements and bank account closures
  • Manage card inventory and logistics (e.g. stock, holograms, envelopes), and improve Straight Through Processing performance in partnership with Payments, Product, and Compliance teams
  • Maintain the knowledge base of payment operations
  • Act as a point of contact between card schemes and our banking partners
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders for any payment operations projects
  • Oversee liquidity across all settlement accounts by currency, ensuring efficient processing with all banking partners
