We are seeking a highly driven Payment Operations Manager to take ownership of end-to-end payment lifecycles. Job Responsibility

  • Execute global payment strategies and adapt them effectively to local market conditions
  • Localize payment workflows, processes, and user experiences to ensure optimal market fit
  • Translate overarching business goals into clear, actionable execution plans
  • Drive critical KPIs, including transaction volume, success rates, and merchant performance
  • Manage the full lifecycle of payment operations, from integration and go-live to continuous optimization
  • Coordinate seamlessly with cross-functional teams (Product, Tech, Compliance, and BD) to ensure smooth execution
  • Identify and swiftly resolve operational bottlenecks across all payment flows to enhance system performance and efficiency
  • Monitor and analyze key metrics such as transaction success rates, latency, user retention, and complaints
  • Optimize merchant onboarding, activation, and retention processes
  • Identify proactive improvement opportunities through deep data analysis and market insights to support scalable business growth
  • Ensure strict adherence to local regulations, including AML, data protection, and localized payment rules
  • Support audits and fulfill all regulatory reporting requirements
  • Monitor transaction risks closely, ensuring proper fund flow and accurate financial reconciliation

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 to 5+ years of experience in the payments, fintech, or closely related industries
  • Proven track record in payment operations, product operations, or operational project execution
  • Strong, hands-on understanding of payment workflows (including transaction flows, settlement, and reconciliation)
  • Prior experience in payment gateway, e-wallet, or banking integration is a massive advantage
  • Highly data-driven with exceptional problem-solving abilities and a knack for translating data into actionable operational strategies
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a highly agile, fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel for market support and regional execution when required
  • Bachelor Degree
