This role involves leading a team, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to process improvements, playing a key role in the smooth operation of the finance department. The manager will be directly involved in the day-to-day accounting function, reviewing and approving payment requests, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.■ Main tasks・Lead the accounts payable team, providing guidance and support.・Oversee the processing of invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.・Maintain vendor relationships and resolve payment discrepancies.・Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.・Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.・Prepare and analyze financial reports.・Collaborate with other departments to support their financial needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Experience managing a team of AP professionals
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
  • Proficiency in using accounting software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working in a multinational environment (preferred)
  • Fluent in English and Japanese
