Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Payment BSA to join our team in Toronto, ON for an onsite full-time role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, documenting, and improving payment systems and processes to support business operations and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for payment systems
  • Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure solutions meet business needs
  • Support the design and implementation of payment processes, workflows, and system enhancements
  • Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and validate payment system functionality
  • Identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, and reports
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and manage change requests

Requirements:

  • Strong experience as a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) in payments or banking
  • Knowledge of payment processing systems, ACH, wire transfers, and card networks
  • Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and process analysis
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Nice to have:

  • Experience with banking core systems and payment platforms
  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance standards in payments
  • Experience with workflow automation and process improvement initiatives
