The Part-Time Payroll & Accounts Payable Specialist will support payroll processing and accounts payable functions for an organization of up to 600 employees. This role will also assist with employee onboarding and ensure accurate, timely processing while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations. Job Responsibility:
Assist with payroll processing for up to 600 employees
Review and verify timecards, pay rates, deductions, and adjustments
Support payroll audits and resolve discrepancies as needed
Assist with payroll reports, reconciliations, and recordkeeping
Respond to employee payroll questions and follow up as needed
Support new hire onboarding, including payroll setup and documentation
Ensure accurate entry of employee data into payroll and HR systems
Coordinate with HR to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
Process vendor invoices and ensure proper coding and approvals
Assist with payment preparation and reconciliations
Maintain organized AP records and documentation
Ensure payroll and AP processes comply with company policies and applicable regulations
Maintain confidentiality of employee and financial information
Assist with special projects or process improvements as needed
