Job Description:

Performs maintenance, repair and installation of both rigid and flexible pavements, curbs and gutters, sidewalks, storm water drainage systems and chain link fences. Work may be performed both indoors and outdoors. Outdoor work is subject to extreme temperatures, noise, and inclement weather conditions determined by the nature of the job. Tasks may be performed on uneven, inclined, hard and soft surfaces, pavement structures and surfaces at variable heights.

Job Responsibility:

  • Performs maintenance, repair and installation of both rigid and flexible pavements, curbs and gutters, sidewalks, storm water drainage systems and chain link fences
  • Performs all other duties as assigned to satisfy the operational requirements of the contract

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Class B Florida Driver's License with Air Brake Endorsement
  • Flight Line Driving Permit Certification (to be obtained upon hiring)
  • National Agency Check Clearance Certification
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Demonstrated ability to competently perform operational responsibilities of position
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand American English
  • Team Player- ability to communicate effectively and work harmoniously with others
  • Ability to understand and have working knowledge of hazardous, safety, and environmental warnings
