Opportunity to take full ownership of Patient Support Programmes across the UK & Ireland within a global rare disease organisation, combining governance leadership with operational delivery. A global biopharmaceutical company focused on rare diseases is seeking a Patient Support Programme (PSP) Manager to oversee the governance, performance and operational management of patient support and homecare services across the UK and Ireland. This role sits within the Medical Governance function and plays a critical part in ensuring PSPs deliver real value for patients, healthcare providers and the wider healthcare system while maintaining the highest standards of compliance. You will act as the PSP Owner, leading programme governance, vendor oversight and operational performance while working closely with Medical, Compliance, Market Access, Commercial teams and external healthcare partners.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own the governance and lifecycle management of Patient Support Programmes across the UK & Ireland
  • Lead cross-functional PSP governance reviews and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal frameworks
  • Manage relationships with homecare providers and external service partners, ensuring high-quality service delivery
  • Oversee contracts, KPIs and operational performance across PSP providers
  • Analyse programme data to identify insights, risks and opportunities to improve patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Experience in Patient Support Programmes, homecare services, or healthcare operations within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
  • Strong understanding of governance frameworks, regulatory expectations and compliance requirements associated with PSPs
  • Experience managing vendors, service providers and contractual relationships
  • Strong analytical capability and confidence interpreting operational and performance data
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Medical, Compliance, Market Access and Commercial teams
  • Degree in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, medicine or a related discipline

Nice to have:

Experience in rare diseases or speciality therapeutic areas would be advantageous
