This posting is for multiple openings for a Patient Services Specialist at Providence Regional Medical Center, Everett, WA. Hiring for Night Shift: Every other weekend availability required. Job Responsibility

  • Ensures that all demographic and insurance information is captured in a timely and accurate manner in our Medical Record system
  • Prepares and coordinates the distribution of patient information to nursing units and ancillary departments
  • Adheres to all compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Collects patient co-payments, pre-payments and payments due
  • Works side by side with the clinical team in the emergency room setting

Requirements

  • Clerical and in person professional customer service experience, preference being in a health care setting
  • experience in computer data entry
  • experience with medical terminology

  • Support recycling program operations, including processing and shipping recycling materials
  • Identify and escalate customer or patient complaints, enrollment issues, or operational concerns in accordance with established procedures
