An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic Patient Services Assistant to join our Radiation Oncology Department, part of the Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre (BRICC). The role of the PSA involves the performance of a wide range of tasks.

Job Responsibility:

  • assist in the delivery of safe, timely and quality patient services
  • to assist in the maintenance of a clean and safe environment for patients, staff and visitors
  • assist with transport of patients
  • general PSA duties

Requirements:

  • Have a commitment to Austin Health values
  • PSA Certificate – Certificate III in Health (Patient Services)
  • Willing to work in a hospital environment with sick people
  • Flexible attitude
  • Willingness to carry out all PSA duties and tasks and work in a team
  • Ability to use initiative and to prioritise tasks and problem solve
  • Physically capable of undertaking the full range of PSA duties
  • Basic verbal and written English skills
