Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Patient Services Advisor to join our Front of House team based in Hemel Hempstead. You will join us on a weekend, part-time - working 13 hours (Saturday 07:45 - 16:15 and Sunday 08:45 - 13:15), permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus benefits.

Job Responsibility

  • To welcome visitors and patients to OSH and to assist them in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional, in a courteous, efficient and effective way
  • Maintain a visible presence and be pro-active in communicating with patients, doctors, consultants, and other members of the clinic team
  • To undertake a variety of administrative duties including those associated with billing and payments, to ensure the smooth running of the clinic

Requirements

  • Good standard of general education with GCSE (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics
  • Experience of working in a public reception environment and managing face to face communications with patients/members of the public
  • Good numeracy, keyboard and computer skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills
