As the Patient Service Representative, you will keep the office running smoothly while delivering excellent support to patients and providers. Job Responsibility:
Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR) systems to ensure accurate patient information
Provide administrative support by scheduling appointments for patients and physicians
Operate office equipment efficiently, including scanners, fax machines, and computers
Verify and explain insurance benefits to patients, addressing any questions or concerns
Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and insurance companies
Assist with general office tasks to support the daily functions of the medical team
Monitor and manage patient scheduling to maintain an organized workflow
Ensure compliance with office policies and procedures while handling sensitive information
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education
3+ years of experience in administrative support
Working knowledge of multiple EHR systems and related software applications
Skilled in managing paperwork, including scanning and uploading documents accurately
Experienced in handling high‑volume phone calls and routing them appropriately
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Basic understanding of insurance benefits and coverage
