We are looking for a dedicated and friendly Patient Service Representative to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in ensuring a positive experience for patients by managing appointments, handling administrative tasks, and providing exceptional customer service. Job Responsibility:
Greet patients and visitors with professionalism, ensuring a welcoming environment
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments, maintaining an organized calendar
Register patients and update their demographic and insurance details within the system
Verify insurance eligibility and secure necessary authorizations for services
Collect co-payments, deductibles, and outstanding balances from patients
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health systems
Coordinate with clinical staff to facilitate appointments and required documentation
Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently to keep operations running smoothly
Address patient inquiries and provide assistance over the phone or in person
Requirements:
Experience with patient scheduling and registration processes
Strong ability to assist patients and provide excellent customer service
Familiarity with verifying insurance details and obtaining authorizations
Proficiency in handling electronic health records and data entry
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Previous experience in a healthcare or call center environment is preferred
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
