Job Description

We are currently hiring for a Bilingual Spanish Patient Service Representative (PSR) to join a busy healthcare office. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong customer service and administrative experience looking to grow within the medical field.

Job Responsibility

  • Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries
  • Verify insurance coverage and collect copays/payments
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the system
  • Assist with patient intake forms and documentation
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
  • Handle general administrative tasks including filing, scanning, and data entry

Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
  • 2+ years of recent experience in a medical office, call center, or front desk role
  • Strong experience with patient scheduling and high-volume phone handling
  • Experience verifying insurance (PPO, HMO, Medicare, Medicaid)
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems (Epic, eClinicalWorks, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain HIPAA compliance
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
  • Must be able to work on-site full-time
  • Must be currently unemployed and available to start immediately
