Performs all duties related to registering and scheduling for patients receiving physical rehabilitation services. Obtains insurance authorization for all treatments and procedures, assists with billing audits, maintains medical records, and assists clinicians with operations of clinic
Job Responsibility
Willingness to work in multiple locations in addition to home base and adjust work schedule to meet department needs
Performs all registration functions including pre-registration, registration, and upgrading of accounts to meet department and organizational requirements
Ability to perform patient appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and authorization as required
Administrative tasks as required. Ability to maintain an adequate stock of medical and office supplies
Arrives on time for scheduled shift and is immediately ready to work with a positive "can do" attitude
Professional demeanor and appearance and the ability to respond to specific task requests
Supports the supervisor in accomplishing the department's and organization's mission
