As our Patient Flow Coordinator you will provide patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, contributing to our collaborative Team Medicine approach. The Patient Flow Coordinator coordinates and facilitates the non-clinical activities of the patient care area through acting as a liaison with the nurse, physician, and ancillary staff enabling them to focus on quality care and patient satisfaction.

Requirements:
High school diploma, or GED
Two years customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
Working knowledge of medical terminology
excellent customer service skills
demonstrated time management, organizational and problem solving skills
the ability to work independently
strong interpersonal skills
excellent verbal and written communication skills
strong computer skills and knowledge of VM information systems
an understanding of diagnostic tests, coding, procedures, and preparation
CPR certification required
