Job Responsibility

support safe, cost-efficient patient care in the Emergency Department, performing delegated functions from the RN or Physician
conduct selected diagnostics and procedures
assist with patient transport and lifting
provide general clerical and cleaning support to the unit
effectively execute delegated tasks
support unit operations
contribute to a safe and efficient environment
assists in implementing plan of care by performing common clinical procedures and tasks within scope of practice
demonstrates competency in the delivery of care and clinical techniques
assists in making observations, gathering data and identifying patient care needs
