This is a remote role supporting the Enteral Nutrition Center team. The Patient Care Coordinator processes monthly patient refill requests, ensures documentation accuracy, supports new patient admissions, and handles customer service calls related to nutrition therapy orders. This is a full-time benefited position with typical hours Monday-Friday.
Job Responsibility:
Process monthly patient refill requests and ensure documentation is accurate before shipping orders
Process new patient orders and update electronic medical records
Answer incoming calls from patients, caregivers, branches and patient referral sources regarding nutrition therapy order status
Process prescription changes
Pump Troubleshooting
Triaging calls to various departments
Verifying patient demographics and insurance information to ensure accurate shipment
Requirements:
Minimum one year experience working in a customer service environment
Experience with data entry
Experience working in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook and Word
High School diploma or GED
Nice to have:
Home infusion or durable medical equipment (DME) experience
