Job Responsibility:

Coordinate patient scheduling to ensure timely appointments and efficient use of resources
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, adhering to confidentiality standards
Assist patients with inquiries, concerns, and navigating their care plans
Schedule and confirm appointments, providing reminders to ensure attendance
Communicate effectively with patients to address concerns and manage expectations
Handle patient calls with professionalism and empathy, ensuring their needs are met
Support patients experiencing mental health challenges through effective de-escalation techniques
Collaborate with insurance providers to obtain necessary authorizations and approvals
Work closely with healthcare providers to facilitate smooth patient care processes

Requirements:

Proven experience in patient scheduling and coordinating healthcare services
Strong knowledge of medical records management and confidentiality protocols
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to assist patients in a compassionate manner
Proficiency in managing appointment schedules and confirmations
Ability to address patient concerns and resolve issues effectively
Familiarity with mental health support techniques, including de-escalation strategies
Experience with insurance authorization processes and requirements
Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with patients and providers
