In this pivotal non-clinical role, you will play a critical part in supporting patient access, ensuring accurate records management, and streamlining scheduling operations to deliver exceptional patient service.
Job Responsibility:
Utilize EPIC to coordinate patient scheduling, manage electronic health records, and facilitate effective care transitions
Serve as the main point of contact for patients regarding appointments, insurance, billing, and follow-up needs
Work collaboratively with medical, administrative, and billing teams to deliver a seamless patient experience
Ensure front desk operations, patient intake, and admissions processes run efficiently and in compliance with healthcare regulations
Maintain updated knowledge of revenue cycle management best practices and support related administrative tasks
Demonstrate adaptability, problem-solving skills, and effective communication in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a patient access, coordination, intake, or front desk role within a healthcare setting
Hands-on experience using the EPIC EMR platform is required
Strong records management and scheduling expertise
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and customer service skills
Nice to have:
Familiarity with revenue cycle management is a plus
