Job Description

As our Patient Care Assistant, you’ll help our patients feel safer and more comfortable by assisting with their basic daily life activities. Every day, you will directly support patients with tasks such as personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding, while also assisting nursing staff with vital sign monitoring and preparing patient rooms.Your success in this role comes from your genuine desire to help patients feel better, whether that means giving them fresh bed linens or checking their vitals. You're diligent about your tasks, observant of patients’ conditions improving or declining, and accept coaching well.

  • Assists in providing personal hygiene and physical care needs
  • Accurately measures, records, and reports intake and output
  • Obtains and records daily weight
  • Performs blood glucose testing using blood glucose meter

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or High School GED
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days
