Patient Care Assistant/CNA, Float Pool

The Patient Care Assistant is an unlicensed staff member who is accountable to/completes delegated tasks from the RN in a caring and culturally sensitive manner with excellent customer service at all times. Demonstrates competence in the areas of critical thinking, interpersonal relationships, and technical skills related to delegated tasks. This position will work in the Float Pool. Our Float Pool provides staff for units that require additional resources in caring for patients. A staffing coordinator makes assignments based on each nurse’s skills and interests. The Float Pool offers an excellent opportunity to work in different nursing specialties and select the one that’s right for you.
