Circle Reading Hospital is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. We have an opportunity for a Patient Administration Manager to join their team of staff in the Patient Administration department. This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of patient administration services, ensuring processes are efficient, accurate, and patient-centred
  • Lead, manage, and coordinate the performance of administration teams across all relevant departments
  • Ensure services run in line with key performance indicators (KPIs), referral-to-treatment (RTT) standards, and organisational targets
  • Provide clear leadership and direction to administration leads, supervisors, and wider team members
  • Recruit, train, and develop administrative staff, ensuring all team members are supported through performance reviews and personal development plans
  • Foster a positive, motivated, and high-performing team culture that aligns with organisational values

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in healthcare administration or operations management
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Strong understanding of patient pathway management, data protection, and service coordination
  • Proficient in patient administration systems and Microsoft Office
