We have an opportunity for a Patient Administration Manager to join their team of staff in the Patient Administration department. This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee the day-to-day management of patient administration services, ensuring processes are efficient, accurate, and patient-centred
Lead, manage, and coordinate the performance of administration teams across all relevant departments
Ensure services run in line with key performance indicators (KPIs), referral-to-treatment (RTT) standards, and organisational targets
Provide clear leadership and direction to administration leads, supervisors, and wider team members
Recruit, train, and develop administrative staff, ensuring all team members are supported through performance reviews and personal development plans
Foster a positive, motivated, and high-performing team culture that aligns with organisational values
Requirements:
Proven experience in healthcare administration or operations management
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Strong understanding of patient pathway management, data protection, and service coordination
Proficient in patient administration systems and Microsoft Office
