Job Description:

The Outbound Patient Account Services (PAS) Team Lead will serve as a key support to the Outbound PAS supervisors, helping to drive performance through data insights, training, and process improvement. In this role, the Team Lead will be responsible for various operational processes including but not limited to: training initiatives, pulling and analyzing weekly reports for leadership review, escalating accounts receivable trends, conducting audits, and resolving urgent patient billing inquiries.

Job Responsibility:

  • Serve as key support to Outbound PAS supervisors
  • Help drive performance through data insights, training, and process improvement
  • Responsible for various operational processes including training initiatives
  • Pulling and analyzing weekly reports for leadership review
  • Escalating accounts receivable trends
  • Conducting audits
  • Resolving urgent patient billing inquiries

Requirements:

  • 18+ months of experience in a Specialty Pharmacy, Customer Service, Revenue Cycle or similar role
  • Effective written and verbal customer service skills
  • Exceptional Time Management skills, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication, organizational, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and on a team
  • Ability to offer emotional support and empathy
  • Experience with computers, including 1+ years working with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Must be available to work 8-hour shifts from 8:00am – 4:30pm EST (Monday – Friday)
  • Must reside within a one-hour commute of the Monroeville, PA office
  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent
