Job Responsibility:
Greet patients and visitors warmly, fostering a welcoming and attentive environment
Handle patient registration processes, including verifying insurance details and updating records accurately
Schedule and confirm patient appointments while managing follow-up communications efficiently
Process payments and manage co-pays, ensuring all daily financial transactions are accurate and balanced
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to streamline patient flow and improve overall service
Maintain strict adherence to confidentiality policies to ensure the privacy and security of patient information
Respond to patient questions and concerns with empathy, escalating issues to the appropriate team members when necessary
Monitor and manage patient data to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
Provide general information and assistance to patients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously
Requirements:
Proven experience in patient registration, scheduling, or related administrative roles within a healthcare setting
Strong understanding of medical insurance verification processes and procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff
High level of attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in data entry and record management
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain patient confidentiality
Proficient in using scheduling and registration software, as well as basic office applications
