Job Responsibility:
Welcome, register, and check in patients, always upholding confidentiality and professionalism
Confirm insurance eligibility, complete authorization processes, and collect required co-payments
Enter patient demographic and financial data accurately into electronic health record systems
Address patient and provider questions compassionately, resolving issues efficiently
Uphold compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards
Work collaboratively with clinical, billing, and scheduling teams to ensure seamless processes
Look for and suggest ways to enhance the patient intake workflow
Requirements:
Previous experience in healthcare administration, patient registration, or customer service preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and proficiency in data entry
Comfort using EHR systems and other office technology
Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly
