Job Responsibility:
Greet, register, and check in patients while maintaining confidentiality and a high level of professionalism
Verify insurance coverage, handle authorization procedures, and collect necessary co-payments
Accurately enter patient demographic and billing information into electronic health record systems
Respond to patient and provider inquiries with empathy, resolving concerns promptly
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards
Collaborate closely with clinical, billing, and scheduling teams for smooth process integration
Identify and recommend process improvements for the patient intake experience
Requirements:
Previous experience in healthcare administration, patient registration, or customer service preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and proficiency in data entry
Comfort using EHR systems and other office technology
