We are looking for an experienced Patient Access Representative to join our team in Templeton, California. The Patient Access Representative opening is an onsite contract role with one of our Fortune 500 healthcare clients. To be successful in this role the Patient Access Representative will have excellent customer service skills and familiarity with outpatient services in a medical office setting. The ideal candidate will work closely with patients and staff to ensure seamless access to radiology and imaging services.
Job Responsibility:
Greet and assist patients in a detail-oriented and friendly manner, ensuring a positive experience during their visit
Manage patient registration, scheduling, and check-in processes with accuracy and efficiency
Verify insurance information and process authorizations in compliance with organizational policies
Coordinate with imaging center staff to ensure timely and accurate service delivery
Utilize Cerner technologies to maintain patient records and manage scheduling tasks
Provide clear communication to patients regarding procedures, appointments, and billing inquiries
Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to patient access promptly
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to streamline workflows and improve patient satisfaction
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all regulations related to patient information
Ensure compliance with all organizational standards and procedures related to patient access
Requirements:
1+ years of medical office experience
High School Diploma
Excellent customer service skills
Nice to have:
Previous radiology experience is preferred
Cerner experience is preferred
