Full-Time Days Patient Access Rep II to join Patient Access Services. Shift: Monday-Friday 8a-430p. Location provides outpatient check-in support for lab and imaging services. The Financial Clearance Department team verifies patient eligibility with insurance companies, and submits and/or verifies authorization requests. Supports a fast paced work environment focusing on processing 70+ accounts/requests a day by working directly with insurance companies in a low volume call center environment.

Maintaining service excellence for face-to-face and telephonic encounters

Possessing understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO
Maintaining professional relationships with clinical and non-clinical team members
Articulating compliance documentation and ensuring completion of required patient consent forms
Maintaining patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
