Job Description:

Manage team of study coordinators for pre-clinical drug development. This position is responsible for managing a team of Pre-Clinical Study Coordinators. Seeking candidates with experience in the pre-clinical space with knowledge of in vitro and in vivo assays/studies to assess safety, efficacy and pharmacokinetics of early drug development.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage, train and mentor team of 5-6 study coordinators
  • Oversee scheduling and execution of project work and QC
  • Collaborate with Study Directors, Project Managers and Proposals teams to ensure timely and cost effective completion of studies
  • Develop and update SOPs and QC processes

Requirements:

  • BS in life science discipline
  • 5+ years study coordination experience in the Pre-Clinical Space
  • 2+ years supervisory/leadership experience
  • QC experience preferred
  • Ability to build strong teams, and develop individual contributors through mentoring and training

  • Work with Head of AI to establish AI CoE and drive platform / product capability in collaboration with federated analytics teams in Finance, Underwriting, Actuarial and Claims
  • Own and prioritize the AI product backlog, balancing short-term delivery with long-term strategic goals
  • Translate business problems into AI use cases with clear actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Ensure delivery practices (Agile/Scrum/Kanban), NFRs (performance, governance, resilience, privacy-by-design), and control frameworks (quality, metadata, lineage) are embedded
  • Drive delivery of AI products through agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
  • Monitor KPIs and value metrics to ensure AI products deliver measurable outcomes (e.g., loss ratio improvement, leakage reduction, NB premium, campaign ROI uplift, cycle-time reduction)
  • Maintain product-level scorecards and dashboards tracking usage, quality, SLA performance, and business impact
