Job Responsibility

  • Perform monthly patch regression testing aligned with the release cycle, ensuring timely validation on designated lab machines
  • Manage test machine schedules and ensure patches are deployed and validated as per defined timelines
  • Validate system health, stability, and performance across Windows-based end-user environments after patch application
  • Test critical applications, including Microsoft Office, Teams, SAP Client, TCPOS, Chrome, and Edge for compatibility and functionality
  • Identify and document issues with clear analysis, ensuring accurate tracking of defects and inconsistencies
  • Prepare detailed validation reports outlining test results, risks, and rollout readiness for stakeholder review
  • Communicate test outcomes prior to production deployment to support informed release decisions
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and EUC teams for issue resolution, retesting, and continuous improvement in patch validation processes
