The Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i is looking for a Steward who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Job Responsibility:
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen compliant with Chapter 50 Hawaii Health code regulations
Assist with transportation of product between properties
Maintain inventory of proper cleaning supplies
Knowledge of MSDS
Keep organized dry storage
Refill flour bins and dairy product shelving in walk-in fridge
Follow weekly and monthly cleaning schedules
Clean and sanitize dishware, utensils, equipment, and kitchen areas using proper machines, solutions, and protective gear
Maintain neatness and organization in all kitchens and back-of-house spaces
Safely operate equipment and handle cleaning materials
Set aside damaged items for repair
Requirements:
Legal work authorization in United States
Obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card (required by Hawaii State Department of Health)
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to operate, maintain and properly clean dishwashing machine, sinks, floor cleaning equipment, and silver burnishing machine
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong work ethic
Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize tasks
Weekend and Holiday availability required
Willing to work overtime when needed
