As a Pastry Demi Chef, you will support the pastry kitchen operations by ensuring high standards of preparation, production, and presentation. You will work closely with the Chef de Partie, Sous Chefs, and Executive Chef to deliver exceptional pastry creations while upholding Four Seasons quality, hygiene, and service standards.
Job Responsibility:
Run the daily operation of the assigned pastry station and assist in menu and special creation
Prepare and complete mise en place, ensuring consistency with standard recipes and presentation
Support the Chef de Partie and act in their absence while maintaining operational excellence
Communicate effectively with Sous Chefs and Executive Chef regarding production needs or shortages
Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to HACCP, hygiene, and safety standards
Assist other culinary sections during hotel events and special operational needs
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within a 5‑star hotel pastry kitchen
Strong knowledge of pastry preparation, techniques, and international standards
Professional attitude, strong teamwork skills, and respect for confidentiality
Physically fit and able to work in a fast‑paced culinary environment
Fluent English communication skills
Culinary or F&B certification is an advantage
