Job Description:

We are looking for experienced pastry cooks to join our team immediately. We are filling AM and PM positions. Prepare a broad range of pastry food items and baked goods.

Job Responsibility:

Preparing a wide variety of goods following established recipes
Maintaining a clean and orderly work area, including surrounding areas
Cleaning and maintaining pastry equipment
Maintaining a current recipe book
Working at events when needed
Assisting with main kitchen prep list when pastry prep is complete

Requirements:

Experienced pastry cook
Must be able to speak, read, and write in English
Mastery of culinary terminology
The ability to lift up to 50lbs
Must be able to stand, bend, and stoop repetitively for an entire shift
Must be able to work flexible schedules to include nights and weekends
Professional appearance
Good listener
Strong communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to effectively work with a diverse staff
Energetic
Enthusiastic
Flexible
Able to handle challenges tactfully
