Job Description:

Marriott Hotels is looking for a Pastry Cook to join their team at Guangzhou Marriott Hotel Nansha. Responsibilities include food preparation, cooking, monitoring food quality, and upholding safety and cleanliness standards. The role also requires positive collaboration and professional conduct. Job Responsibility:

Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning, chopping, and storing food
Wash and peel fruits and vegetables
Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
Cook food according to recipes and standards
Monitor food quality while preparing food
Set up and break down work stations
Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tools, and equipment
Report maintenance needs, accidents, and unsafe conditions to manager
Maintain clean and professional appearance
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Support team to achieve goals.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
No supervisory experience required
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 25 pounds
Fluent communication skills using clear and professional language
Ability to ensure cleanliness and adherence to safety standards.
