As part of our opening team, you’ll help shape the pastry program from day one — bringing creativity, precision, and pride to every plate. You’ll be responsible for preparing, plating, and executing exceptional desserts while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace that meets Prime + Proper’s culinary standards.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare a variety of breads, pastries, and plated desserts according to standardized recipes
Safely and effectively operate kitchen equipment, including mixers, ovens, and knives
Maintain portion controls, par levels, and presentation standards
Support the Pastry Sous Chef with organization and prep execution
Demonstrate solid foundational pastry techniques and a willingness to grow your skill set
Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Follow all kitchen standards, sanitation, and safety policies
Assist in training new team members and help build a positive, learning-focused culture
Maintain efficiency and minimize waste while upholding quality standards
