Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and cook food according to recipes and standards
prepare ingredients and portions
follow food safety and personal hygiene procedures
check kitchen temperatures and report issues
wash and maintain cleanliness of kitchen area
monitor the quality of prepared food and portions
develop and maintain positive working relationships
report accidents and unsafe conditions
comply with safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards
prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools/equipment/appliances
follow food safety handling policies and procedures, including personal hygiene
check and ensure correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food
wash and disinfect kitchen area
set-up and break-down work station
monitor the quality of food prepared and portions served
move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds
stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
maintain positive working relationships with others.

Nice to have:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
less than 1-year related work experience.
