We are recruiting for a Pastry and Bakery Commis or Demi Chef to join our Chef Brigade at Bents. Have a passion for pastry? Then look no further!! This role would be ideal for a hardworking, disciplined team player with a lot of stamina who possesses a passion for fresh food and eager to be part of a developing team. We are open to both Commis or Demi Chef level applicants, and will provide development and multi-skilling opportunities across our Pastry and Bakery kitchens.
Job Responsibility:
Production of freshly made home bakes to serve across 1000-seater Dining areas
Working with fresh ingredients everyday making products ranging from best selling Scones to hot fudge chocolate gateaux
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar food environment as a Pastry or Bakery Chef is essential
Experience of working in a high-volume restaurant is desirable
Shows the ability to work at pace and under pressure
Hardworking, disciplined team player with a lot of stamina
Possesses a passion for fresh food
Eager to be part of a developing team

Permanent full time contract, offering annualised hours as an average of 40 hours per week
