As part of our culinary team, you’ll bring passion, skill, and pride to the preparation and assembly of all pastry items while supporting the delivery of exceptional dishes across the wider menu. You’ll help us create memorable guest experiences by producing high-quality food that reflects our standards and our client’s vision. You’ll play a key role in maintaining a spotless, safe kitchen, driving consistent quality through centrally led menu plans, and upholding our commitment to preferred suppliers. Every day, you’ll contribute to delivering a food offer that is creative, sustainable, high quality—and unmistakably Levy.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare, cook, and assemble dishes in line with the client environment and centrally driven menus and promotions
Follow accurate portion control and use preferred suppliers wherever possible
Bring passion and creativity to pastry—setting dessert specifications, plating standards, and delivering consistently exceptional results
Create and follow recipes to maintain quality, cost control, and consistency
Work collaboratively as part of a positive, guest-focused team
Produce dishes that excite and delight our guests
Ensure all food is stored, handled, and packed safely and correctly in line with Food Safety and Hygiene Regulations
Maintain accurate temperature records, take remedial action where needed, and report concerns to your line manager
Operate all kitchen equipment safely, following training and procedures, and report any faults promptly
Maintain clean and organised work areas, ensuring waste is recorded and disposed of correctly
Demonstrate competency across all areas of preparation, cooking, and counter service
Uphold exceptional standards of food quality, presentation, and hospitality service
Comply with all health & safety legislation, food safety standards, and Levy company policies
Attend and complete all required training, including brand training, food safety, and H&S
Maintain high standards of personal presentation and hygiene
Monitor, record, and manage daily production schedules for each menu item
Requirements:
Experienced working in a pastry kitchen or in a dedicated pastry chef role
A confident communicator who builds strong, respectful working relationships
Detail-driven, with a strong eye for plating, presentation, and quality
Passionate about pastry and excited by food innovation and current trends
Flexible and adaptable—embracing change and welcoming new ideas
Honest, ethical, and accountable, with strong personal integrity
A natural team player who contributes positively to the kitchen culture
Capable of designing, developing, and executing pastry dishes with skill and creativity
Knowledgeable in recipe development and menu execution
A motivated individual with the desire to grow, learn, and develop
