Job Description

Montefiore has a rare opportunity for an experienced and motivated Pastry Chef to join our passionate catering team in Hunters Hill on a Permanent Full-Time basis. Start date can be early 2026 or earlier if preferred.

Job Responsibility

Assisting in general food preparation work, including food service, predominantly in the pastry department

Requirements

  • Hospitality experience is essential
  • Applicable trade qualifications and accreditations
  • Proficiency in all aspects of food safety
  • Ability to keep calm under pressure, and lead by example
  • Fit and energetic, manual handling is involved
  • Must be a good communicator and team player
  • Able to take direction from other people
  • Attention to detail with the ability to work unsupervised
  • Must be reliable with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
