A Pastry Chef is needed for a historic luxury castle in the Irish Midlands. The role involves owning the full sweet offering from afternoon tea and breakfast pastries to fine dining desserts and showpiece celebration cakes.
Job Responsibility:
Developing and delivering the full pastry and dessert menu in collaboration with the Head Chef
Managing the pastry section to the highest standards of quality and consistency
Creating seasonal menus that reflect the provenance and character of the property
Overseeing the production of afternoon tea, breakfast pastries, and all sweet elements across the operation
Maintaining impeccable standards of food safety and hygiene throughout
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a professional kitchen environment
Creativity, precision, and a genuine passion for the craft
Experience in a luxury, fine dining, or country house setting is a distinct advantage
The ability to work independently, manage your section, and produce consistently at a high level
