Downtown Detroit restaurant is seeking a creative Pastry Chef for this high volume, Italian concept. The newest addition to Heirloom Hospitality, Mad Nice, is an unexpected Italian menu paired with smooth service and elevated coastal vibes. Our Culinary Team is responsible for setting up the line with proper tools and products, and preparing their station for service. We seek individuals who thrive on quality, consistency and execution as well as maintaining a clean and efficient workspace to maintain Heirloom's Culinary Standards.
Job Responsibility:
Motivated Pastry Chef with good organizational skills.
Willingness to learn and execute a detailed pastry and bread program.
Must have experience with basic pastry techniques and willing to maintain high standards of quality.
Available to work a flexible schedule.
Follow kitchen standards, policies and procedures.
Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
Assist in training and supervising responsibilities.
Work to improve efficiency and minimize waste.
