This is a great opportunity in Sydney for quality and talented Pastry Chefs to join the team on a full-time basis, as a Pastry Chef at Merivale, you will need the following experience and attributes.
Requirements:
2+ years relevant experience in the industry
Knowledge around preparing pastry products including doughs, pastry fillings, cakes, buns, biscuits, and bread
An understanding of baking, shaping and decorating pastry and bread products
Worked in a quality restaurant, patisserie, cafe or hotel
Experience operating large machines including mixers, ovens, dough forming machines
An understanding of HACCP, hygiene practices and following WH&S
Can follow a recipe and accurately weigh ingredients
Good communication skills, attitude and be a team player
