Job Description:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pastry Chef de Partie to join our Four Seasons Hotel Mykonos opening team in Greece. Our Ideal Candidate will be responsible for overseeing a specific section within the pastry kitchen, ensuring the preparation, presentation, and quality of all pastry and dessert items meet the highest standards. This role involves leading a small team, managing daily mise en place, and contributing creatively to menu development. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, organized, and passionate about pastry arts.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee a specific section within the pastry kitchen
  • Ensure the preparation, presentation, and quality of all pastry and dessert items meet the highest standards
  • Lead a small team
  • Manage daily mise en place
  • Contribute creatively to menu development
  • Prepare pastry items according to guest orders following recipe cards and standards
  • Train, motivate, supervise and discipline all staff
  • Communicate regularly with the Executive Pastry Chef
  • Complete mis en place and set-up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service
  • Start food items prepared ahead of time
  • Operate and maintain clean kitchen equipment
  • Label food containers and rotate as per policies
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years previous pastry experience
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Previous experience in a luxury hotels setting is highly recommended
  • Fluency in English is essential
  • Proficiency in Greek is an advantage
  • Teamwork and Positive Attitude: Collaborative and supportive within the kitchen team, maintaining a respectful, enthusiastic, and solution-oriented approach under pressure
