We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pastry Chef de Partie to join our Four Seasons Hotel Mykonos opening team in Greece. Our Ideal Candidate will be responsible for overseeing a specific section within the pastry kitchen, ensuring the preparation, presentation, and quality of all pastry and dessert items meet the highest standards. This role involves leading a small team, managing daily mise en place, and contributing creatively to menu development. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, organized, and passionate about pastry arts.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee a specific section within the pastry kitchen
Ensure the preparation, presentation, and quality of all pastry and dessert items meet the highest standards
Lead a small team
Manage daily mise en place
Contribute creatively to menu development
Prepare pastry items according to guest orders following recipe cards and standards
Train, motivate, supervise and discipline all staff
Communicate regularly with the Executive Pastry Chef
Complete mis en place and set-up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service
Start food items prepared ahead of time
Operate and maintain clean kitchen equipment
Label food containers and rotate as per policies
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years previous pastry experience
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Previous experience in a luxury hotels setting is highly recommended
Fluency in English is essential
Proficiency in Greek is an advantage
Teamwork and Positive Attitude: Collaborative and supportive within the kitchen team, maintaining a respectful, enthusiastic, and solution-oriented approach under pressure
Nice to have:

Previous experience in a luxury hotels setting
