Job Description:

We are recruiting for a Pastry and Bakery Commis or Demi Chef to join our Chef Brigade at Bents! Have a passion for pastry? Then look no further!! This role would be ideal for a hardworking, disciplined team player with a lot of stamina who possesses a passion for fresh food and eager to be part of a developing team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Production of freshly made home bakes to serve across 1000-seater Dining areas
  • Working with fresh ingredients everyday making products ranging from best selling Scones to hot fudge chocolate gateaux

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar food environment as a Pastry or Bakery Chef is essential
  • Experience of working in a high-volume restaurant is desirable
  • Shows the ability to work at pace and under pressure

  • Easter Sunday, Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year off
  • Permanent full time contract, offering annualised hours as an average of 40 hours per week
  • Working alternate weekends, no split shifts
