Job Description:

This role involves supporting students with various SEN/SEMH needs at a holistic school in Merton. The position offers a great opportunity to gain behavioural and pastoral experience while working alongside professionals in a supportive environment. Duties include mentoring children, assisting in their development, and contributing to decisions about their care.

Job Responsibility:

Work alongside psychological and behavioural professionals, learning their craft as you shadow them
Mentor a child and support their development
Work Monday-Friday, 8:30-15:30 with no weekends
Use your experience with the child to make decisions on the care the child receives
Support students with a variety of SEN / SEMH needs

Requirements:

1st Class/2:1 in a Social Sciences Degree
Strong Academic Record
Experience working with children/young people
Experience with additional needs is desirable
Strong communication skills
Friendly and bubbly personality

Nice to have:

Experience with additional needs
