Job Description:

This position is based in a holistic school in Merton, London, supporting children with behavioural and SEN / SEMH needs. The role involves mentoring, supporting development, and working alongside psychological and behavioural professionals.

Job Responsibility:

Work alongside psychological and behavioural professionals, learning their craft as you shadow them
Using the knowledge and experience you gained at university, mentor a child and support their development
Support students with a variety of SEN / SEMH needs
Alongside professionals, use your experience with the child to make decisions on the care the child receives

Requirements:

1st Class/2:1 in a Social Sciences Degree
Strong Academic Record
Experience working with children/young people
Experience with additional needs is desirable
Strong communication skills
Friendly and bubbly personality

Nice to have:

Experience with additional needs

What we offer:

Work Monday-Friday, 8:30-15:30 with no weekends
Previous postholders from a social sciences background have gone on to complete masters, join sought after graduate schemes, and psychological clinics
