Job Description:

Do you enjoy working closely with young people, supporting their progress and celebrating their success? We require a Pastoral Support Assistant to join our team at The Victory Academy providing support to our Key Stage 3 and 4 students. The successful candidate will work with the Student Services Manager and Pastoral Support Team responsible for the efficient and effective pastoral and behavioural support provision, ensuring every child is supported to achieve their full potential. This role includes leading on the supervision of our Internal Reflection Room, promoting a positive ethos that support our Behaviour for Learning Policy and students learning. Other responsibilities include assisting in the promotion of high standards of behaviour and conduct within the Academy and to provide support for colleagues through the enactment of Academy policy and procedure. Supporting colleagues as directed in all aspects of learning, personal development and emotional literacy both within classrooms and in other defined learning environments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing support to Key Stage 3 and 4 students
  • Working with the Student Services Manager and Pastoral Support Team
  • Ensuring every child is supported to achieve their full potential
