Job Responsibility:

Student Well-being: Champion mental health and emotional support, ensuring every child feels safe, valued, and ready to learn
Behaviour & Inclusion: Lead behaviour management strategies, promote positive conduct, and uphold our inclusive ethos
Safeguarding & Support: Act as a key point of contact for safeguarding concerns, liaising with families and external agencies
Community Engagement: Strengthen links between school, home, and the wider community through proactive communication and partnership work
Leadership & Collaboration: Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and senior leaders to deliver pastoral programmes and interventions that remove barriers to learning

Requirements:

Proven experience in pastoral care, safeguarding, or student support within an educational setting
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to build trust and positive relationships with students, families, and staff
Organised, proactive, and committed to promoting inclusion and well-being
A passion for making a difference and upholding the values and ethos of Oasis Academy MediaCityUK
